Casual Alien releases

I may have mentioned some new releases since Christmas 2022, and here they are.  Because of the very serious health problems I was having, I decided to suddenly release a backlog of recordings.

Remedy Vol 1 and 2 are binaural beats albums, meant to to listened to while lying down and wearing headphones or earbuds (not driving or doing any activity in which drowsiness would be a hazard!) They are meant to be very relaxing and might cause sleep.

Mermaid has some collaborations, so because of the distribution paperwork involved I only released them on Spotify.

They are all free to enjoy!!!

What has happened since the shutdown? A lot of tracks, 8 new releases, and a deep dive into AI art with over 1400 images.  Several are available on www.threadless.com/casualalien so you can order as prints, mugs, beach towels and (my favorite) bath curtains!!

Casual Alien will be having an art gallery showing Friday Nov 17th at Gallery Coronado 1516 E. Cypress PHX  from 6- 9:30 PM.  

2022 - We're gearing up for the next CD!  We sure accumulated alot of material to work on during the shutdown. 

We hope youre doing well, and hope to get the band back to playing live. 

HALLOWEEN 2021 we hosted a show at Celestial in Mesa, featuring Octaveplex and the debut of the band 

Tripping Breakers.  Scott was kind enough to provide an 8 foot talking and moving animatronic Angel of Death as 

back-drop for the show.  Todd Sisk joined us on sax with Dave Marshall on drums.

Casual Alien performed a short show at the Tempe Historical Museum on May 16th 2019

and we were over-whelmed by the crowd size and response. We are especially grateful

for the number of musicians who attended and presonded with positive comments and

offers to join the band.

Two time Grammy winner  Mel Brown joined us on bass for the first time.

At the end of December we released our newest CD "Path to Light" which is available for streaming and free download through YouTube, Spotify  iTunes etc.

This is our first collaborative CD with Amy Andrews singing and writing, and Dave Marshall collaborating with writing and percussion.

We won as finalists of the City of Tempe Playlist contest!!  Our song "Bananas N Cream" (see MUSIC on the header) won, and

we will be featured on their podcast, bus advertising and a later concert.  We'll post a link to the podcast when we get it.
